Unreal Engine

Hide & Go Squeak! was made in April of 2024 and it is a VR Game made in Unreal Engine 5. Hide & Go Squeak! was a team project that was made for my AR/VR class. I did a lot of work in Blueprints for this project since I had not learned any C++ at this point. This was my first game made in the Unreal Engine. Doing VR for my first Unreal project was certainly a challenge but it was relatively easy to work with Blueprints.

I was able to add adjustable music and SFX sounds. I also added menu controls that allowed the player to switch between teleportation and continuous movement based on their preferences. I had programmed and set up the beginning and end screens for the game as well. As a last thing to add, I had coded a clock table that moved along as if hands on the clock were spinning. In the future I'd would love to code this to set a timer for the player to find the mice by and add a losing condition to the game as well. The repository for this game can be found on my Github.

Unity

Cat-astrophe! was made in April of 2023 and it is a VR Game made in Unity (2021.3.17f1). Cat-astrophe! was an independent project that was made for my first class working in Unity. For this game, I used an older version of Unity. This led to me manually create the locomotion system for player movement since it is not provided in this version of Unity. I had created many assets using unity primitives including the furniture, the litter box (and everything in it), and the remote. Though I created some assets, I am more of a coder than an artist. All other small assets came from TurboSquid.

Wine-Time was made in October and November of 2023 and it is a VR Game made in Unity (2021.3.17f1). Wine-Time was an independent project that was made for Megan's Serious Games class. Wine-Time is a winery simulator where the player would serve the customers and try to pour the right amount to receive a better review. At the end of the game the review is calculated and if you receive more than 3 stars, you get to keep your job.

For this game, Megan used an older version of Unity so she used the locomotion system she had created previously in Cat-astrophe! for player movement. Megan had created all of the assets for Wine-Time except for the glasses (from TurboSquid) and the music (from the Unity assets Store).

Websites

This is the old version of the site you are on right now! I had coded it using entirely using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I started off with the Gaming Recommendation Site I had created as a template. Though that site started off as my template, I ended up completely scrapping everything in that site except the intrapage link.

The version of the site you see here is it's FIRST completed form. This site was made in July of 2024 and the new version you are on today is almost an entirely new site with some minor things kept from my old site. I have created a repository to keep the old site in so I can track my progress in creating websites. You can find the old site in my Github if you're interested in it.

The new site you are on today was completed in early June of 2025 using Bootstrap. If you have any feedback about the new site, feel free to send me an email or contact me on LinkedIn. I am always looking for ways to improve as a new dev.

This is the first website I had ever created. It was for a class in the Fall of 2021 which was focused on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. For this project, I had decided to make a brief gaming recommendation website. At the time, I was a Twitch streamer. I have always been very passionate about video games so I thought it would be a fun website to make. I tried to keep the color scheme close to the colors for my Twitch logo at the time.

There are many things I would change about this site if it was made today instead of years ago. I would add more games, different genres, a way for users to get to each game without scrolling, and more if it were done today.

In the future, I would love to remake this site with the changes listed above and post it to it's own custom domain. The video below gives a brief overview of the site. If you're interested in visiting the site, please click on this link to get there.
